Every shot starts as a still

Before anything moves, I design the opening frame as a still and get it approved. Then I break the shot into short timed beats, so every moment has its own action. Here is a 10-second UGC ad for 'KANZ iced tea.

I'm Idowu Damilola Charles, an AI cinematographer and creative director based in Lagos, Nigeria. In 2024 I founded Kaniverse, an AI cinematography studio, and I direct every film it makes.

I work across product commercials, UGC ads, micro dramas, animation, music visuals, digital humans and brand design. I use AI tools, but I direct the way a film set works: framing, light, timing, and characters that stay the same from shot to shot.
